• Conducted 5 Sensitization, Awareness and Motivation residential Workshops sponsored by the UGC 

• Conducted 8 Refresher Courses in Women’s Studies in Collaboration with Academic Staff College, University of Kashmir. 

• Conducted Eight Women Development Programmes in Collaboration with British Council ,New Delhi 

• Conducted number of Seminars and Lectures pertaining to issues of Women (specific to J&K). 

• The centre was instrumental in implementing Gender Sentization Committee Against Sexual Harassment (GSCASH) at work place as per supreme court directions in the Kashmir university.

• Conducted Mid-Term Appraisal of 11th Five Year Plan. Listening to the voices from the  field, supported by UNFPA, UNICEF & UNIFEM. Organized by NAWO in collaboration with VHAI on 15th September-2009 at Gandhi Bhawan, University of Kashmir. 

• Completed UGC sponsored project on Reviewing Existing Schemes Devoted Towards Enhancing the Participation Rate of Women in Higher Education.
• Organized All India Women’s Conference on the theme “Women and Leadership” attended by 90 women from all over the Country on 16-17 July-2017.
