The team including Prof. Tabasum, Dr Roshan Ara and Dr Shazia started the camp with awareness speeches on the importance of health and hygiene of women. They were sensitised particularly on issues of reproductive health and menstrual hygiene.

The team also made the women aware about differential nutritional requirements of men and women. They also distributed some important supplements like folic acid tablets, Vitamin D3 etc. essential for women's overall health.
With the help of CWSR's associate, Social activist Zahid Parwaz Chaudhri a collective of 20 women have been identified on spot to take lead in skill development training initiative.

In the end Prof Tabasaum assured the women of Gujjar Basti of every kind of support from CWSR, University of Kashmir.
